"On the evening of the 17th I was just about ready
to get off my deer stand when a big roar of wind came
over head and little over 200 yards away a big covey of
turkeys roosted right in front of of me. The next day I was
there an hour and a half before day light with my cross bow.
About 9:15 I got this big jake to come within, I say, 15 to 20
yards. This will be a fresh turkey day for us. His weight
was 22 lb.s with 1 in spurs and about a 10 inch beard."
